Paracord Mil-Spec
Mil-Spec Paracord voldoet aan alle militaire kwaliteitseisen van de Amerikaanse overheid. Deze eisen zijn vastgelegd in zogenaamde militaire specificaties (Mil-Spec) van het Amerikaanse leger onder de naam MIL-C-5040H. De "H" staat voor de laatste update van deze eisen. In deze Mil-Spec specificaties worden o.a. het productieproces, de kwaliteit van de grondstoffen en het testen vastgelegd.
Het grootste verschil tussen “Mil-Spec” en normaal “commercieel” Paracord is de verplichte kwaliteitscontrole en de type kerndraden die worden gebruikt. Paracord Mil-C-5040H vereist dat elk van de kern strengen bestaat uit 3 gedraaide strengen. De kern of mantel bevat een gekleurde ID marker, hierdoor kan je "Mil-Spec'' van ''comercieel'' Paracord onderscheiden! Als je Paracord zoekt voor outdoor activiteiten adviseren wij de ''Mil-spec'' types te gebruiken!
BELANGRIJK: Mil-Spec Paracord is net als normaal Paracord niet te gebruiken als klimtouw!
